Until March 31, Casa da Cultura receives a curious artistic exaltation of nature. The Sant'Ana work that colors the walls of the space was designed by the Rondonian artist Jair Gabriel and has toured several Brazilian cities. The purpose of the pieces is to celebrate the diverse characteristics of the biodiversity of the Amazon Forest.

Born in Porto Velho, Rondônia, son of a rubber tapper, Jair Gabriel spent his childhood and part of his youth in the Amazon Forest, having started his artistic career about two decades ago, at the age of 45, when he already lived in the city of Salvador. With very specific and striking characteristics, his paintings are made using the pointillism technique - "in which instead of the brushstrokes there is the grouping of small circles that, meticulously and patiently, are grouped and take shape", causing a beautiful mixture of colors to the eyes of the observer.
